It all started when a couple of remarkable entrepreneurs realized how much they loved their jobs and how fulfilled they all felt professionally. As HR consultants, they understood that work, shouldn’t feel like work. It should feel like a home away from home, after all, people spend more hours at work than anywhere else.

Their many years of recruiting and HR experience taught them that the perfect job was actually not only about the activities you are skilled to do, but about working in a place that shares your beliefs and your particular way of doing those activities, no matter what they were. That particular way, each organization has of doing things and its beliefs is called Corporate Culture. They realized, if it could be measured, it definitely could be compared!
Self-experience and tons of research revealed that most of a company’s turnover rate, comes from a poor selection process and mostly from cultural misalignment, which most of the typical HR process don’t take into account. Thus, realizing that there are no good or bad cultures, nor good or bad candidates, simply, they weren’t fit for each other.

Our entrepreneurs understood that, if both, company’s and the candidate’s culture were mapped out and compared, plus ensuring a rigorous recruitment process they actually could get a perfect match. The typical HR process wasn’t wrong, it just needed a little extra.
Having the perfect job in the perfect company shouldn’t feel like trying to find a field of four-leaf clovers, it should be easy. Period. And that is exactly what they did!

Our CEO and COO founded their own highly successful recruitment division within their firm, and a few years later, decided they wanted the whole world to have access to this accurate recruitment method. They recognized they had to transform this methodology from man based to a SaaS. Once this was achieved, acknowledging their weaknesses and strengths, they teamed up with a couple of tech-savvy entrepreneurs thus forming the ultimate A-Team and creating SKANA.

Our CTO understood that A.I. would be one of their best allies in the process. He then, rushed to his computer to create the perfect algorithm and platform. He also found a way to automate most of the time-consuming activities a recruiter endures, thus making SKANA the perfect recruitment tool for companies.
